IT Security Engineer
Client Description:
International company within automotive industry is looking for an ambitious IT Security Engineer, ready to join its team from Targu Mures.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage antivirus, anti-malware, and endpoint protection solutions. Monitor and respond to endpoint security incidents;
- Monitor security logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents. Use security information and event management (SIEM) tools to analyze and correlate security data;
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential security weaknesses. Patch and update systems to mitigate vulnerabilities;
- Educate employees and other stakeholders on security best practices and the importance of maintaining a secure environment;
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies;
- Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other network security infrastructure. Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and take appropriate actions;
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards;
- Document security incidents, investigations, and resolutions. Prepare and present reports on the overall security posture of the organization.
Candidate Profile:
Requirements:
- University degree in (Automation, Informatics, Computer Science)
- Languages: English – fluent, German represents an advantage
- Experience: minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Knowledge of informatics security technologies
- Knowledge of computer networks
- Knowledge of IT technologies (software, hardware, communication)
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Windows server, Database, web servers, firewall)
