Talent and Culture Manager


Adecco Professional & Executive Search is looking for one of its client, Exiger, the leader in the provision of technology-enabled regulatory, financial crime, risk and compliance solutions, for a Talent and Culture Manager, based in Bucharest.
The ideal Talent & Culture professional who joins our Bucharest team will provide full employee-life cycle support to his/her colleagues.  This position will be responsible for supporting talent acquisition, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, employee onboarding and offboarding, and ensuring compliance with Romanian and European employment law.
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
  • Working collaboratively with internal managers to provide a full employee life cycle on-the-ground support and guidance to our Bucharest office and professionals.
  • Lead recruitment activities for the company, including posting open positions, conducting phone screens, scheduling in-person interviews, and providing feedback on candidates.
  • Partner with local hiring managers to develop a comprehensive understanding of open roles and talent needs of the team.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation, On-boarding  and Induction in order to  welcome new joiners to the team.
  • Support execution of performance management and appraisal activities, including Mid- and End-of-Year review cycles;
  • Implement company policies and procedures accurately and effectively with an understanding of local needs and adaptations ;
  • Support the company by ensuring complete compliance with Romanian and European Employment law in all aspects of hiring, employment, and separation.
  • Manage legislatively-required programs such as Health and Safety, Accessibility, and others.
  • Providing guidance and support on collective work-force agreements and processes ;
  • Assist with employee relations issues, including receiving employee questions and concerns, and conducting exit interviews.
  • Provide Payroll and Benefit support.
  • Help leaders and managers to engage and motivate our professionals
  • Act as a Talent and Culture champion;

 
 
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
 
  • Knowledge of applicable employment laws and ability to ensure full compliance.
  • Experience navigating employee relations issues and of Employment courts or Tribunals and collective workplace/workforce agreements
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment activities.
  • Ability to understand and interpret payroll entries to support employee inquiries and the timely and accurate processing of payroll.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, inquisitive, problem-solving in nature.
  • Proven ability to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and make a contribution quickly.
  • Comfortable with using data to inform decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills.
  • A self-starter, with strong communication skills and work ethic.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Proven ability to work well within a team environment while accomplishing individual projects.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and an impactful presentation style.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree desirable.
  • A minimum of three to five years’ experience in a Human Resources role of progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Preference will be placed on canddiates with experience from a financial, compliance, research, technology or professional services industry.
  • Ability to travel occasionally based on business needs.
  • Fluent in English written and oral communication required
